Prague by motorhome: two campsites and a visit to the Old Town Hall
Leave your motorhome at a campsite and explore Prague’s Old Town. Find two places to stay and plan a visit to the astronomical clock and Old Town Hall.
In this article
The Old Town Hall stands at the heart of Prague’s Old Town Square, with a civic history that dates to 1338, when it became the seat of the Old Town administration. Over the centuries, buildings from different periods gathered around its Gothic tower to form the present complex. Leave time for the square and nearby Old Town streets as part of the same city walk.
Camp Džbán: Metro A and trails at Divoká Šárka
Camp Džbán is in Vokovice, at the edge of the Divoká Šárka nature reserve. The operator offers three pitch sizes suited to smaller campervans as well as larger caravans, with pitches available with or without electricity. Woodland and walking trails in the reserve are close by. Nádraží Veleslavín is about a ten-minute walk away, and Metro A runs from there to Staroměstská. That gives you a way to pair a day in the Old Town with time on the reserve’s trails while leaving the motorhome at the campsite.
