The Rocca di Monfalcone is a fortified fortress on a hill behind the city of Monfalcone in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy. Built around 490 AD by Theodoric the Great, King of the Ostrogoths, it was subsequently controlled by the Patriarchate of Aquileia, the County of Gorizia, and the Republic of Venice.
