Campingplatz Kolumbussee Plötzky lies in Schönebeck (Elbe) OT Plötzky, in the Sachsen-Anhalt region, about 20 km south of Magdeburg. The site is set in a wooded recreation area around the Kolumbussee, an old flooded quarry lake of roughly 10,000 m² and about 30 m deep, and is family friendly.
