Trekkingplatz Klimawald Nordhastedt is a small backcountry campsite in the community of Nordhastedt (OT Osterwohld), set on a clearing inside a young climate forest. Around 14,500 trees were planted here on about 2.4 hectares in 2014, and the site is offered for tent overnight stays as a way to give the woodland a social purpose alongside its climate and biodiversity role.
