The London Eye is one of London's most famous visitor attractions, an observation wheel on the South Bank of the River Thames, opposite the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben and within walking distance of Waterloo station. At 135 metres tall, it is the world's largest cantilever observation wheel and has offered 360-degree panoramic views over the capital since its opening in 2000.
