The Royal Albert Hall is a famous concert hall on the northern edge of South Kensington in London, England. Opened by Queen Victoria on 29 March 1871 and named in memory of Prince Albert, it has a seating capacity of 5,272 and welcomes more than 390 shows a year in its main auditorium, ranging from classical, rock and pop concerts to ballet, opera, film screenings with live orchestra, awards ceremonies and charity events.
