The Roman Baths is a well-preserved ancient bathing complex in the city of Bath, Somerset, England, around a natural hot spring fed by rainfall on the nearby Mendip Hills. The site began as a temple erected between 60 and 70 AD, around which the Roman settlement of Aquae Sulis developed, and the bathing complex was built up over the following three centuries.
