The camper-van aire Le Terret on the route de la Broderie in Le Grand-Bornand Village is permanently closed and no longer available for overnight stays, according to the Grand-Bornand tourist office. Although the exact site sits at about 1299 m and there is no overnight permission, travellers driving motorhomes through the area should note that parking overnight is allowed only on specific car parks: the Parking impasse du stade in Le Grand-Bornand Village and the parking de la Mulaterie at Le Grand-Bornand Chinaillon.
