The Mauritshuis (officially Koninklijk Kabinet van Schilderijen Mauritshuis) is an art museum in The Hague, located at Plein 23 next to the Hofvijver. The building is a 17th-century town palace designed by Jacob van Campen and Pieter Post for Johan Maurits of Nassau-Siegen, built between 1633 and 1644 in a Dutch Classicist style with an Ionic column order.
