The Kasteel van Breda is a historic castle in the city of Breda, in the Dutch province of Noord-Brabant, set around Kasteelplein in the Valkenberg district. Its origins go back to 1353, when Jan II van Polanen strengthened an existing stronghold with a moat and four corner towers.
