Kalmit is a designated trekking campsite in the Pfälzerwald (Palatinate Forest), near Maikammer. Surrounded by old Haardtrand pines and blueberries, it is the highest of the region's 7 trekking sites at 600m, offering a secluded tent-only experience with a scenic fire pit featuring views west into the forest.
