Palau Güell is a Modernist mansion in Barcelona designed by Antoni Gaudí and built between 1886 and 1890 for the industrialist Eusebi Güell. Donated to the Diputació de Barcelona in 1945 by Mercè Güell, it was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1984 as part of the Works of Antoni Gaudí and is considered an early masterpiece that anticipates his later style.
