The Castillo Palacio de Peñíscola, also known as the Castle of Pope Luna, rises on the highest point of the rocky headland overlooking the town of Peñíscola in the province of Castellón, Comunidad Valenciana, Spain, at an elevation of 64 m above sea level. Its roughly 230 m perimeter and average height of 20 m make it one of the most prominent landmarks on the Spanish Mediterranean coast.
