Basislager is a designated trekking campsite in the Naturpark Nordeifel, set in a deciduous forest with a stand of oaks just west of Bad Münstereifel at around 380 metres above sea level. Despite being close to the town it is a quiet spot, ideal for a first overnight stop before heading deeper into the Eifel.
